We are working closely with a Secondary School in Milton Keynes, who are recruiting for a MFL Teacher to join them on a temp to perm basis from September 2024. The role is open to languages specialists with a specialism in French or Spanish.  

The role of the MFL Teacher would involve teaching your language specialism, French or Spanish, predominantly to Year 7 - Year 11 GCSE classes (KS3/4). A Languages Teacher with at least 1 year experience teaching French or Spanish to GCSE is essential.

Contract Details:

You will be required to plan, mark and deliver enticing languages lessons up to GCSE level. This would be a permanent role for the right person, with a 3 month probation period via our temp to perm programme. You would be treated as permanent staff from the start of your contract, being involved in all CPD activities and sessions inclusive of that. 

On this full-time contract, you will be treated like a permanent member of staff with access to all CPD opportunities as well as PPA time included on your timetable. 

Pay

You would be paid to the National Teacher Pay Scale salary between M1 - UPS1 on a daily rate equivalent.

The ideal candidate we would like to speak to will possess:

• QTS or PGCE MFL Qualification
• MFL Teacher with at least 1 years experience teaching up to KS4
• Highly knowledgeable in GCSE MFL, French or Spanish curriculum
• Be passionate about teaching MFL and promoting learning in languages for excellent results
• Good or Outstanding classroom practice with high expectations for achievements and behaviour
• Be able to plan and deliver creative and stimulating languages lessons

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
