Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our Front Office team. You will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining high-performance systems that are crucial for the bank’s trading activities. This role requires close collaboration with the wider trading team to ensure the delivery of robust, efficient, and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications supporting Front Office trading systems. Collaborate with traders and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Develop and optimize SQL queries and integrate with Oracle databases for data processing. Implement and manage messaging solutions using Kafka Ensure systems are scalable, high-performing, and meet the demanding needs of a fast-paced trading environment.

Key Skills and Experience Required:

Strong Java expertise (Java 8 or higher) with experience in multithreading, low-latency systems, and performance tuning. Proficiency in Oracle and SQL Experience working with Kafka Front Office experience within an investment bank is essential. Solid understanding of trading systems, market data, and pricing concepts.
