Senior Electrical Design Engineer | Nottingham - Can be fully remote | Up to £50,000 plus car allowance

Your new company 
You will be welcomedinto a business that has a collective of engineers, consultants, and projectmanagers, experienced in MEP, Fire and Sustainability design. They delivertechnical construction documentation and BIM packages for architects,developers, and self-builders by creating descriptions of engineering systems.
You will be reportinginto the Head of Building Services.
Your new role 
Your new role will be located in East Nottingham and easily accessible by car or public transport.
Yourmain responsibilities are:

Delivery of MEP documentation on projects in an accurate and timely manner. Maintain professional working relationships with clients.Attend meetings and keep on top of communications with clients and colleagues. Communicate and if necessary escalate any problems to manager when problems arise on projects so they can be resolved quickly.Youwill be required to:Managing MEP projects Be responsible for reviewing work produced by more junior members of the team. Perform design calculationsCreate MEP system drawingsWrite system specificationsAttend meetings with the design team.Write feasibility reportsAttend site from time to time to physically look at installations on behalf of the client or the company.Learn to manage projects. From time to time require professional training to gain qualifications required of the job. What you'll need to succeed  Must have at least 4 years design experience in the construction industry. Experience with the RIBA stage of construction design work. Must have experience of different types of design contracts including design and build and traditional.Understanding of the importance of data confidentiality and employee’s wellbeing.Computer literate in software such as Outlook, Excel, Word, AutoCAD, Electrical OM, Revit and Dialux.Ideally the candidate will be a chartered engineer with the ICE. A master’s degree in engineering or physics or science-based degree.Membership to CIBSE, IET or IMechEWhat you'll get in return  Salary of up to £50,000 + Car allowance;25 days annual leave + 8 days bank holidayFull support and guidance for personal and professional developmentEasily accessible office, well served by public transportFully remote with occasional travel for the right candidateWhat you need to do now
