Clinical Psychologist Full-time, 9-month fixed term (with potential for permanent position)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to take the lead in creating a new, comprehensive therapeutic programme from the ground up. Initially offered on a fixed-term basis, this role involves reviewing our current approaches, developing a broader, more inclusive trauma informed model that aligns with NICE guidelines and improves outcomes for a diverse range of clients.

Main duties of the job
To deliver high quality, effective and responsive psychological treatment and leadership to staff and people in treatment for addiction and multiple complex needs
Key responsibilities include:
Create:Design and implement a new therapeutic framework that builds on our existing services, including the 12-step programme, integrating evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches to improve client outcomes. Assess:Conduct individual assessments to develop personalised, person-centred care plans that meet each clients unique needs, working closely with our psycho-therapeutic team. Collaborate:Work with the existing team to ensure the new programme is inclusive, effective, and tailored to improving client outcomes, and to ensure that the team have the right skills to deliver it. Lead the Future:After the fixed term, youll be considered for a permanent role leading the programme, managing the team, and ensuring the continued delivery of person-centred care.

Job responsibilities
Key Tasks,Duties AND Responsibilities
1. Service Delivery
Contributeto the establishment and maintenance of a safe and effective multi disciplinaryapproach in relation to the broader service delivery team that complies withthe high standards of professional practice required by Bosence Farm CommunityLtd (BFC Ltd).
TheClinical psychologist will be responsible for working and leading with theTherapeutic lead, Key workers and Counselling team in supporting people intreatment who have multiple needs including those with significant trauma andaddiction issues
Lead,develop and implement a range of modalities to provide varied treatment options.
Youwill work across the site in a multidisciplinary team to provide clinicaloversight as well as assessing and monitoring complex needs across site
Workingwith co-occurring disorders, clients families and multi-agency working isessential for the role.
Conductcomprehensive assessments pre-admission and following admission.
Provideclinical support in treatment for our clients which includes robust riskmanagement, care planning and aftercare.
Experienceand confidence in leading teams and skill matching and mapping is crucial forthe role.
Embedpsychological practice through assessment of individual cases, monitor deliveryand effectiveness
Offertraining, support and clinical supervision on therapeutic techniques
Supportthe team to develop safe working practice when supporting those withsignificant trauma
Inaccordance with BFC Ltd written policy, contribute to ensuring a safeenvironment where risk management and safety are of the highest importance, andto ensure that all service users are safeguarded from physical, financial,material, psychological or sexual abuse, neglect, and discriminatory abuse,self-harm or inhuman or degrading treatment, through deliberate intent,negligence or ignorance.
Contributeto ensuring an environment that offers respect and dignity to each individualservice user.
Contributeto ensuring a safe environment where risk management and safety are of thehighest importance.
Ensureeffective communication of client information internally and externally asrequired using established written and verbal communication systems.
Deliverand maintain procedures for assessment, admission and induction of serviceusers and liaise and work in partnership with appropriate internal services andexternal agencies as necessary.
Towork effectively with service users in detox who will be attending BosenceRehab to assist in preparing them for admission.
Toassist in promoting the work of BFC to other agencies in Cornwall and whererequired further afield.
Keepup-to-date regarding developments in the field to ensure Bosence Farm CommunityLtd continues to provide a service that is responsive and relevant to changingneed.
Contributeto the ongoing review, evaluation and monitoring of the residential careservices delivered at Bosence Farm Community Ltd in order to improve quality,standards and outcomes.
Ensureefficient record keeping and data collection at all times.
Deliversafe and appropriate recreational activities to clients as required.
Attendclinical supervision, progress reviews and staff support sessions
Topursue a programme of personal and professional development
2. General
Maintaincontinuing professional development, to keep abreast of best practice anddevelopments in the field and to undertake mandatory training and refreshertraining as agreed by BFC Ltd.
Ensureadherence to BFC Ltd confidentiality policy in all aspects of work.
Promoteand adhere to the content and values of BFC Ltd equal opportunity policy in allaspects of work.
Promotehealth and safety in all aspects of work and implement Bosence Farm CommunityLtd policy and procedures in regard to this.
Promoteand maintain effective channels of reporting and communication at all levelswithin Bosence Farm Community Ltd in order to promulgate and accomplish theorganisations mission, values and objectives.
Beprepared where necessary to be part of the 24-hour shift cover rota system inplace when needed.
Attendand participate in meetings as required by the Manager, including supervision,appraisal and training.
Undertakespecific tasks and projects as directed by the Manager.
Producewritten reports as required
Managepersonal workload in liaison with the Manager.
Carryout other relevant duties appropriate to this role in the organisation.
Beprepared to work in other locations within the organisation as required.
The role requires you to have
Qualifications and Experience:
Registered psychologist with relevant degreequalifications in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, or a relatedfield.
Registered with the Health and Care ProfessionsCouncil (HCPC) or other relevant professional body
Proven experience in providing psychologicalservices to staff and individuals working with people who have experiencedaddiction, trauma, and co-occurring mental health disorders.
Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeuticmodalities and approaches.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Experienced in delivering clinical supervision andsupport to team members
