- Foster independenceand confidence in students by providing guidance andencouragement during educational and personal developmentactivities. Help students develop essential life skills that willbenefit them beyond theclassroom.
- Participate in theassessment and monitoring of student progressproviding feedback to teachers and contributing to the developmentof personalized learning plans. Your insights will be valuable inshaping educational strategies that support each studentsgrowth.
- Engage in professionaldevelopment opportunities including training focusedon best practices in SEN support. Staying informed about currenteducational strategies will enhance your ability to meet thediverse needs of studentseffectively.
- Contribute to apositive and inclusive school culture by promotingrespect understanding and collaboration among students and staff.Your role will help build a sense of community and belonging withinthe school.
Experience&Qualifications
- Previousexperience in support roles within education or social care isbeneficial particularly in settings that cater to children withspecial educational needs. Familiarity with various learningdifficulties and effective support strategies is aplus.
- An empathetic and supportive naturecombined with excellent interpersonal skills will enable you tobuild strong relationships with students parents and colleagues.Your ability to connect with students on a personal level isessential for their success.
- Strongcommunication skills both verbal and written to effectivelycollaborate with teachers and contribute to student assessments andreports.
- A commitment to inclusive educationand the adaptability to modify support strategies based on theunique needs of each student.
- A current andclear Enhanced DBS check is required to ensure the safety andwellbeing of all students in yourcare.
