Pay: £12.30 p/hr (drivers) / £11.50 p/hr (walkers)
  • 45p per mile for drivers / 20p per mile for cyclists

As a Care Assistant in Girlington & Toller for Be Caring Bradford, your working hours will be aligned with our shift patterns, which include late evenings and weekend working:

  • Early shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm (finish time depends on public transport times)
  • Late shift: 3:00pm - 10:00pm (finish time depends on public transport times)

As a Care Assistant in Girlington & Toller for Be Caring Bradford, we will agree your working pattern, setting 2-week rota which includes:

  • Alternate full weekends.
  • Evenings as arranged within your working hours.

Job Description

You may already have many of the skills needed to make an excellent Care Assistant in Girlington & Toller for Be Caring Bradford, patience, empathy, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively are all essential qualities for this role. As a Care Assistant working in Girlington & Toller, you will:

  • Provide personal care that protects people's dignity.
  • Promote independence using enabling approaches.

Induction Training

We are looking for people with Be Caring values to join our team. For this role you do not need care experience, we recognise you will have many transferable skills from previous roles, for example as a shop assistant. We will provide you with the training you need to be an outstanding Care Assistant. As a Care Assistant for Be Caring Bradford, you will be provided with comprehensive induction training, including:
