Are you a passionate English Teacher looking to inspire students and make a difference in their learning journey? GSL Education are seeking a dynamic English Teacher to join our team in Gateshead

A fantastic opportunity has arisen at a school in Gateshead for an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher. Join a supportive team and bring the love of literature and language to life in the classroom.

Responsibilities as an English Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging and creative English lessons that cater to the needs of all learners.
  • Plan and assess lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Inspire students to develop their reading, writing, and communication skills.
  • Provide feedback and support to students to help them achieve their best.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment.

To be a successful English Teacher, you need :

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching English at secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and ability to deliver lessons that meet learning objectives.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A passion for teaching English and motivating students to succeed.
  • Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
