Position: RN Labordelivery
Location: Richmond VA 23235
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Pay rate: $50/hr onW2
Shift: 7:00AM 7:00PM

Must have:

• At least 2years of labor experience

Preferred or nice to have:

• 2 years of labor experience with a historyworking in an LDRP with high birth volumes

• Meetingwith expectant mothers for prenatal visits and providing care fornormal and problematic pregnancies.
• Teachingchildbirth preparation classes.
• Providinginformation guidance and handson clinical care to pregnantwomen.
• Monitoring fetal heartbeat and lengthand strength of contractions during labor.
• Coaching women assisting with any complications andadministering medications during birth.
• Performing tests on newborns after birth.
• Providing guidance to new mothers on all aspects ofrecovery and infant care.
• Using equipment andadministering medications related to labor delivery and the care ofnewborns.

• Anassociates or bachelors degree in nursing.
• Aregistered nursing licence.
• A willingness tocontinue nursing and obstetric training.
• Over2 years experience as a Registered Nurse in labor anddelivery.
• Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills.
• Ability to work underintense pressure and stress.
• Flexibility towork shifts and remain oncall for emergency situations.
