Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Base Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive software development, with expertise in ASPICE, Inverter technology, Hardware-integration, and AUTOSAR. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and integrate base software components for advanced automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain base software components for automotive systems, ensuring compliance with ASPICE standards.
  • Collaborate with hardware and system engineers to integrate software with inverters and other hardware components.
  • Design and implement AUTOSAR-compliant software modules, ensuring seamless integration with existing vehicle systems.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of software components to ensure high reliability and performance.
  • Participate in the requirement analysis, design reviews, and technical discussions to drive continuous improvement in software development processes.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance during system integration and testing phases.
  • Document software design, development processes, and test results in accordance with industry standards and company guidelines.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in automotive software development, with a focus on ASPICE, Inverter technology, Hardware-integration, and AUTOSAR.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ and familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay).
  • Experience with model-based development tools such as MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Solid understanding of automotive safety standards and functional safety (ISO 26262) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
