  • CTI Tax Solutions of client providesoutsourcing (along with consulting and technologyproducts/services) to major financial institutions andmultinational corporations around the world as those servicesrelate to the review and validation of international taxdocumentation (e.g. Forms W8 WS etc.). Drawing on extensiveoperational and tax technical expertise CTI Tax Solutionsoutsourcing offerings cover endtoend services meeting domesticnonresident FATCA tax withholding and information return reportingneeds as well as the Common Reporting Standard due diligence andreporting requirements.
Position summary
  • The CTI Tax Solutions Outsourcing group isseeking a highly qualified people manager for placement within thedue diligence operations team. Successful candidates will assume arole which oversees a team managing tax document validation reviewaccount remediation and other client backoffice functions relatedto U.S. and foreign tax documentation requirements. Candidates withexperience in tax compliance or advisory/consulting background inU.S. domestic and nonresident tax (Chapters 3 and 61) FATCA(Chapter 4) and global AEOI requirements are of particularinterest. Applicants with prior experience in complementary taxcompliance review as part of financial account onboarding for banksand other financial institutions are also welcome. People andprocess management experience is required.
Duties& accountabilities
  • Manage multipleengagements/projects while maintaining ontime deliverables.
  • Manage a team of 510individuals to execute on tax due diligence initiatives.
  • Evaluate scope ofwork/project plans and make recommendations for improved processplans.
  • Managerelationships with clients internal teams and all stakeholders.
  • Prepare projectprogress and status reports for leadership team and clients.
  • Identify and work toresolve gaps in process or project execution.
  • Develop longterm relationshipswith existing clients connecting with key business executives andstakeholders.
  • Mustutilize strong adaptability skills and become an expert on ourproprietary products through classroom web and on the job trainingand experience.
  • Workthrough new requirement discussions with the client and identifyshortterm workarounds.
  • Identify upsell opportunities for tax related servicesor products.
  • Abilityto foster develop and grow a team
Businesscompetencies
  • Bachelors Degree or higher
  • 5 years of provenexperience in a tax related field with previous people and processmanagement experience with an overall experience of 8 10 years incompliance field.
  • Experience in working as Project Manager lead.
  • Excellent analyticalproject management and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong communication skills withexceptional presentation expertise.
  • Data analysis skills with intermediateknowledge of MS Excel required. VBA will be Plus
  • Ability to manage conflictingpriorities and communicate effectively with clients
  • Strong attention to detail andorganizational skills with a focus on quality and process.
  • Ability to maintainand report Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics to uppermanagement.
  • Must beable to work collaboratively with team members both senior andjunior.
  • Proficientin Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexible to work on global time zone
