An opportunity has arisen for a Housekeeper to join the Manchester Centre for Clinical Neurosciences (MCCN) based at The Maples Specialist Continuing Health Care Unit, in Boothstown. We provide exceptional care for Patients with complex long term neurological conditions.

Main duties of the job

We require a well-motivated and enthusiastic individual to work as the Housekeeper at The Maples, a part of Salford care role includes the undertaking of serving nutrition and hydration of patients, forward menu planning for the patients, daily organisation, maintaining stock levels, and cleanliness of the environment.

You will be working with a fantastic and supportive team who will be happy to assist you as settle within the team. Regular feedback and one-to-one will be provided by your manager to ensure that you stay happy in your job.

Duties include stores ordering, management of stock, maintenance of equipment, also including general housekeeping of the is essential that you are able to work in an orderly and systematic manner, possess good literacy, IT, numeracy, communication and organisational skills.

You should have a caring attitude, as well as the ability to work effectively under direction as part of a multidisciplinary team.

You should also be able to prioritize your workload daily to ensure that the demands and needs of the patients and the unit are met.

This unit prides itself in providing patient centered care whilst having a productive hands on approach to both teaching and learning.
