The role of a Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN) within the Nursing Home involves:
  • Ensuring that the care, welfare, and safety of all residents is of the highest possible standard.
  • Carrying out assessments and evaluations
  • Create person-centred care plans and update accordingly.
  • Liaising with external governing bodies and agencies
  • Ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements in record keeping, documentation and health and safety
  • Mentoring junior member of staff
  • Undertaking specific duties as delegated by the Home Manager
