Main duties of the job

You will serve as the front-of-house representative, welcoming visitors, managing entry to the ward, signing in and distributing keys to professionals, and handling telephone inquiries.

Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a tidy and organised reception area, as well as ensuring that office supplies and stationery are ordered and adequately stocked.

Qualifications

Essential

GCSE level English and Maths

Desirable

NVQ 3 or RSA Stage III Word Processing/Typing or equivalent ECDL (or equivalent) Medical knowledge or relevant NHS job experience

Experience

Experience of general clerical and administration duties

Desirable

Experience of setting up and maintaining office systems and maintaining office systems and procedures that support smooth running of the department Experience of contact with users of mental health services Experience of working with people with mental health difficulties
