Under the guidance of the Senior Engagement Manager, DBS Engagement, and working with the Senior Communications Consultant for Group Internal Communications, you will help drive employee engagement in line with the communications vision and priorities across the DBS functions and markets..

You will have responsibility for contributing to and supporting DBS internal communications plans, projects, policies, and campaigns linked to the strategy, purpose, and transformation agenda. You will work as part of an integrated, flexible team that uses agile and traditional working methods to support a wide range of DBS programmes and initiatives.

You will support the tactical runway of engagement activities, including the internal and external events programme (virtual and in-person) and digital communications channels for DBS. In line with the strategic communications plan, and working closely with the Senior Engagement Manager, you will have responsibility for communications planning, content creation, filming, development, and maintenance of channels and producing and distributing agreed communication activities.

You are expected to have good generalist internal communications skills, with the desire to constantly build new capabilities and enhance your knowledge.

In this role you will:

Support the tactical runway of DBS engagement activities in line with HSBC’s global purpose and strategy, and DBS business priorities. Support the planning and delivery of global campaigns, including the development of key messages, visual materials, collateral, and measurement through content gathering from across DBS Support the development of internal communications products, techniques and channels. Provide support and guidance on communication and engagement activity across DBS. Contribute to development and management of global communications channels including Digital Workplace (intranet, mobile, internal social media).  Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

Have prior experience within communications/engagement. Experience understanding business issues and devise engagement solutions that deliver results, constructing fresh approaches where appropriate and making connections to other issues. Experience creating articles, communications, newsletters. Experience working within an ambiguous environment, prioritise and reconcile competing demands and resolve complex issues. Ability to work quickly, managing time and multiple priorities effectively. Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work confidently and effectively with senior executives across regional/global geographies

This role is based in Grosvenor House, 1 Wellington Street, Sheffield, S1 4NB or Birmingham, Hybrid.
