About the Nursing Home:

This beautiful setting is a care home for 26 elderly residents. Located in an English garden setting, residents are aged from 55 years. The emphasis of the home is a positive and enjoyable future and all rooms are fully equipped and furnished to a high standard.

The registered nurses and care assistants who work at the home are chosen for their warm personality as well as their skills and there are regular training updates for all staff. Their philosophy is that care is a partnership between staff and residents.

The role of a Staff Nurse (RGN) within the Nursing Home involves:
  • Ensuring that the care, welfare and safety of all residents is of the highest possible standard
  • Carrying out assessments and evaluations
  • Create person-centred care plans and update accordingly
  • Liaising with external governing bodies and agencies
  • Ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements in record keeping, documentation and health and safety
  • Mentoring junior member of staff
