An Ofsted rated GOOD primary school in Swindon, Wiltshire, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic MDSA Lunchtime Supervisor to join their permanent staff team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about working with children and ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and inclusive lunchtime environment.

Key Responsibilities:
*Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of students during lunchtime, both indoors and outdoors.
*Promote positive behaviour and manage any behavioural issues in accordance with school policies.
*Encourage healthy eating and good manners among students.
*Assist with setting up and clearing away lunchtime activities and dining areas.
*Provide basic first aid as needed and ensure incidents are properly recorded and reported.
*Foster an inclusive environment, supporting the needs of all students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Requirements:
*A genuine passion for working with children.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
*Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
*Reliability and punctuality.
*Basic first aid qualification (or willingness to obtain one).
*Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.

Desirable Attributes:
*Experience working in a primary school setting.
*Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
*An ability to engage children in positive play activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
