ARE YOU A MAINTENANCE ENGINEER WITH EITHER AN ELECTRICAL OR MECHANICAL BIAS?

Maintenance Engineer required for a well established manufacturer who supply their products on a global scale.

The role would suit maintenance engineers, mechanical maintenance engineers, electrical maintenance engineers, multi skilled maintenance engineers or technicians from ANY manufacturing environment. Applicants can have either a mechanical or electrical bias. Engineers transferring from a heavy engineering or manufacturing environment will have a considerable advantage. You must be prepared to be on call 1 week in 4.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for a mixture of reactive and pre-planned maintenance on a wide range of production and process machinery. You will work with suppliers on new machinery upgrades, modifications and installation. The site itself is a heavy industrial plant with degree of PLC control machinery and automation, a wide range of materials handling and conveying equipment as well as pneumatic and hydraulic control systems.
