About the role

We're looking for a Senior UX/UI designer with significant experience in working with established products and complex ecosystems, with measurable examples of improving customer journeys, increasing revenue and streamlining complex systems into simple, beautiful and intuitive experiences. You will be leading product development from a UX perspective setting the UX and UI vision. You will need to be confident at presenting to stakeholders and resilient in defending UX principals and customer needs.

This role is a 12 month fixed term contract

Key accountabilities


• Accountable for setting the UX and UI vision and defining measurable solutions to improve the user experience based on insights, customer needs and user feedback.

• Lead on the documentation of existing customer journey and set the vision for future journeys with measurable improvements, eliminating pain points and increasing customer numbers and satisfaction.

• Facilitate workshops alongside UX researchers and customer insight practitioners to continually review and improve our personas and customer insights.

• Develop ecosystem maps and information architecture to improve our content.

• Solve complex problems and architect solutions that drive the evolution and modernisation of our portfolio.

• Lead ideation sessions to build a culture of innovation and creative thinking, based on evidence and customer insights.

Skills, qualifications, and experience

• Proven experience working as a Senior UX/UI Designer with examples of leading projects and delivering solutions with measurable improvements to user experience, improving the visual design and delivering return on investment.

• You will have a strong visual portfolio back up by UX thinking, evidence and quantifiable outcomes.

• Expert in using design and wireframing software like Axure RP, Adobe XD, Figma or Sketch.

• Examples of improving design efficiency and creating design systems.

• Experience of coaching and mentoring others in the team.

• You will have a proven background of promoting UX and will be confident at leading presentations and workshops.

• You will be used to working across scrum agile teams and contributing to the creation of product roadmaps and backlogs.

• Evidence of developing new information architectures and using testing methods to optimise content to deliver business objectives and metrics.

Package

Salary - up to £48,000
