About the Role:Are you a highly motivated and hands-on individual with a passion for working with vehicles? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy tackling diverse challenges? If so, we encourage you to apply for our Fitter/Body Engineer position

In this role, you will play a vital part in our production process, working alongside experienced engineers to:
  • Fabricate, assemble, and install various bodywork components for commercial vehicles.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical tasks, including troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Ensure all work meets stringent quality standards and adheres to safety regulations.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

We are looking for someone with:
  • Strong mechanical engineering skills and experience working with commercial vehicles.
  • Proficiency in hydraulics, pipework, and general fitting tasks (e.g., using spanners, bolting, drilling).
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Bonus points if you have:
  • Experience with electrical systems in vehicles.
  • Welding experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm

Salary: £12.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
