Are you driven to make a significant impact on the educational journey of vulnerable young people? Do you have a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a secondary SEN school in Enfield.

This full-time role (Monday - Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm) involves working with students aged 4-19 who have a range of individual needs, including SEN, ASD, MLD, SLD, SEMH, PI, and HI, helping them achieve educational excellence.

With small class sizes and a favorable staff-to-student ratio, the school ensures high-quality support for each student. The curriculum is a modified version of the national curriculum with a strong emphasis on vocational skills.

The successful candidate will be confident in managing challenging behavior, ensuring students remain engaged and make progress in their lessons. You will work closely with class teachers and other specialists to provide both small group and one-on-one support.

Requirements:

  • Experience with SEN
  • Experience working with young people
  • Current and clear DBS or willingness to obtain one
  • Strong interpersonal skills
