Job Title: Primary Cover Teacher

Location: Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire

Pay rate: £120 - £195 per day

Start date: ASAP

The Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects, ensuring students remain engaged and on track with their learning.

  • Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive and conducive learning atmosphere.
  • Follow school policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and continuity in students' education.
  • Provide feedback to regular teachers on students' progress and any issues encountered during the lessons.
  • Collaborate with school staff to support the overall learning environment and address any immediate needs.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A genuine passion for teaching and the ability to inspire young learners.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in various classroom settings.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
  • Previous experience in a primary school setting is desirable but not essential.
  • A proactive approach to professional development and continuous learning.
