A highly reputable and large Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) is seeking a dedicated and passionate KS2 Teacher to join the permanent staff list of their Ofsted rated OUTSTANDING school in Burnley (BB10). This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic team committed to providing exceptional education and fostering a positive learning environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons for Key Stage 2 students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure academic excellence.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support student development and well-being.
  • Contribute to the school’s extracurricular activities and initiatives, promoting a holistic educational experience.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2, with a track record of delivering outstanding results.
  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of educational best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Dedication to maintaining the high standards and ethos of an outstanding school.
