TPFRecruitment is assisting an independent firm of charteredaccountants in their search for an Audit Senior. This is anexciting opportunity for a qualified or partqualified professionalto take on a key role within the firms auditdepartment.

Role:
TheAudit Senior will be primarily responsible for leading auditengagements while also contributing to accounts preparation. Thesplit of work is predominantly auditfocused with approximately 70%of the role dedicated to audit and 30% toaccounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadingand managing audit assignments from planning to completion ensuringthey are completed within budget anddeadlines.
  • Supervisingjunior team members during audit engagements providing guidance andsupport asneeded.
  • Reviewingwork performed by junior staff ensuring accuracy and compliancewith relevantstandards.
  • Preparingstatutory accounts for a range of clients including limitedcompanies partnerships and soletraders.
  • Liaisingwith clients to discuss audit findings provide advice and resolvequeries.
  • Assistingwith the development of audit methodologies and procedures toenhance efficiency andquality.


Requirements

Requirements:
Recently or part QualifiedACA/ACCA
Significant recent auditexperience
Strong technical skills and experience of UK GAAP and FRS 102reporting
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build stronginternal and externalrelationships
Ateam player who is also comfortable leadingjuniors

Salary:
Thesalary for this position ranges from 40000 to 45000 depending onexperience andqualifications.
