This Primary school is a vibrantschool based in Banbury. Staff members kids guardians and thegoverning body put in a lot of effort to create a caring nurturingatmosphere where every student can fulfil their potential. Boys andgirls attend this school from the age of three when they startNursery to the age of eleven after which they transfer to asecondary school.

About therole:

You will be carrying outnormal Primary SENCO duties; solely sorting throughEHCPS

Carrying out 1:1 Assessments of thechildren and assisting the admin side of therole.

Must have experience withEHCP.

Excellent understanding of the SEN Code ofPractice & Primary Curriculum

The idealcandidate will be a qualified primary teacher have a SENCOqualification (or a huge desire to gain one) and have vastexperience with Special Educational Needs. You should be passionateabout making a difference to the lives of children. Due to thenature of the role we are also looking for a SENCO with greatorganisational skills and already be an inspirationalleader

You will be joining a friendly teachingteam who will help you to hit the ground running starting September2024.

Requirements

  • QualifiedTeacher Status and relevant educational degree(NASENCO)
  • Excellent knowledge of the nationalcurriculum and current educationaltrends.
  • Strong communication skills both verbaland written.
  • Ability to differentiateinstruction to meet the needs of diverselearners.
  • Commitment to continuous professionaldevelopment and reflectivepractice.
