Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, highly motivated individual to join the Resuscitation Department as a Resuscitation Officer to cover maternity leave. The post also involves undertaking defined projects related to the service (i.e., quality improvement projects) and attending Medical Emergency Team calls. This is a vital role for patient safety and for developing the knowledge and skills of all clinical staff.

You will be a UK registered qualified nurse with recent experience in an acute setting e.g., Intensive care, Coronary Care, Emergency Department or be working as a Resuscitation Officer.

This post requires excellent communication, interpersonal, time management and organisational skills, together with an ability to be very self-motivated and also work as part of a team.

The applicant must have a thorough working knowledge of the current Resuscitation Council UK guidelines.

Please see attached Job description and person specification for full details of roles and responsibilities.
