JobDescription:
Under the generalguidance of the Engineering Manager the Senior ManufacturingEngineer develops and leads the implementation of optimalcosteffective manufacturing processes and methods in accordancewith product specifications and quality standards. Recommends andleads process improvements to production processes methods andcontrols ensuring project goals are met. Identifies and recommendscost saving changes to existing products. Coordinates manufacturinglaunch activities for new & revised products. Prioritiesinclude process improvement product and process documentationproblem resolution project management and employeetraining.

JobResponsibilities:
  • Leaddesign and development efforts for manufacturing processesincluding production flow assembly methods and productionequipment.
  • Designsdevelops tests or sources various tools fixtures machinery andequipment for critical manufacturing methods ensuring that theassociated costs are justified.
  • Responsiblefor development of Bill of Materials and Bill of Operations andongoing ERP maintenance for new and existingproducts.
  • Coordinatesthe manufacturing launch of new & revised productsincluding establishment of project goals training of operators andevaluatingresults.
  • Compilemanufacturing cost analysis and reporting of new & revisedproducts.
  • Performsproduct/process analysis for cost reduction quality and efficiencyimprovement.
  • Developsand maintains documentation required for manufacturing includingdrawings work/assembly instructions procedures androutings.
  • LeadDesign for Manufacturability (DFM) efforts within new productdevelopment and ECOteams.
  • Identifyand execute lean manufacturing goals and strategies for improvingthe operations and processes within the organization.
  • Collaboratewith quality to ensure inspection procedures tools anddocumentation arerobust.
  • Identifyand lead continuous improvement opportunities to eliminate nonvalueadded process steps andwaste.
  • Serveas a role model for production staff including processtraining
  • Identifyand lead key ECOprojects.
  • SupportSupply Chain team with technical guidance for materials sourcingand outsourcingplans.
  • Maintainregular and punctualattendance.
  • Complywith all company policies andprocedures.
  • Performsother related duties asassigned.
JobQualifications:
  • Bachelorsof Science Degree with a major field of study in engineering orrelated technicalfield.
  • 8years of work experience in an Operations/Manufacturingenvironment
  • U.SPassportrequired
  • Acombination of training education and experience that is equivalentto the qualifications listed above and that provide the requiredknowledge skills andabilities.
