Security Officer

Join our team as a Security Officer in Woking and play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of individuals and property within your assigned area. As a vigilant observer, you will report activities and incidents at the client site, utilising tools such as wands and metal detectors. With a focus on service enhancement and ongoing training, you will contribute to maintaining a secure environment.
This position requires:
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, days.
⏰ 42 hours per week
SIA licence required
Driving Licence or have good travel links

Job Opportunity
- Prevent and deter unauthorised access to the site by monitoring fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate
- Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions, providing traffic control and applying parking restrictions as required
- Manage keys, perform locking and unlocking duties and carry out routine tests of security equipment as detailed in the Assignment Instructions
- Issue visitor/contractor passes, deal with lost property and maintain all logbooks and records in accordance with the Assignment Instructions
- Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors while ensuring the safeguarding of the premises and ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Shows drive to make a difference to others at work
- Interacts with others in a supportive way and in accordance with our Core Values
- Responsibility with high risk assignments
Essential Skills
- SIA Licence
- 2yrs experience as a Security Officer
- Driver's Licence and access to own vehicle
- RTW and 5yr checkable history
- Confident and vigilant
- Good customer service
- Conflict management
- IT literate
