We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Medical Administrator to join our Team.

You will provide an effective, administrative service, supporting the CANCER INFORMATION AND SUPPORT CENTRE (Macmillan Centre) Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) team across Southend Hospital.

You will be based at CANCER INFORMATION AND SUPPORT CENTRE Southend and will be required to communicate effectively across the sites via remote access. To provide support for the multi-disciplinary team members; to liaise with departments across the Trust, general practitioners, patients, relatives, and visitors.

**** THIS IS A FIXED TERM CONTRACT AND WILL END ON 31ST MARCH 2025 ****

Main duties of the job

All administrative staff work as part of a team supporting the nursing and management teams in the directorate.

During annual leave and sickness of other members of the team, it will be necessary for the work to be re-distributed to ensure that the service continues to operate safely and efficiently.

It may be necessary for the postholder to carry out the duties of other staff within the wider team.
