Our partner secondary schools in Warrington are looking for motivated graduates to work with students aged 11-16. Positions are available in Grappenhall, Great Sankey, Padgate, and Birchwood.

Roles starting ASAP or from September 2024. 

Teaching Assistant Role:

  • Provide general classroom support and work with students identified by the special educational needs department.
  • Offer 1:1 and small group assistance and intervention.
  • Run nurture groups in Maths and English to support lower-ability students.
  • Challenge high-achieving students and provide additional help to those with lower abilities.
  • Cover Supervisor Role:
  • Lead mainstream lessons when the class teacher is absent.
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure student engagement.
  • Maintain classroom control and confidence as the responsible adult.
  • Gain teaching experience without the need for lesson planning and grading.
