Finance Business Partner

Hybrid - 2/3 days in our Knebworth and Waltham Cross offices.

Permanent, full-time

The Finance Business Partner is required to support the Head of Finance of the Energy Infrastructure division, providing business partnering support to two project-based businesses within the Energy division.


More about the role:

 

  • Preparation of the fortnightly business unit forecasts.
  • Financial management of large projects to ensure costs and revenue are on track.
  • Work closely with project managers to provide financial insights and support decision making.
  • Review and support in tender submissions.
  • Business partnering support to key stakeholders.
  • Month end process, ensuring costs and revenues are correctly recognised at project level. 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Analysis of capital expenditure requests.
  • Ensure invoicing is done in a timely manner.
  • Adhoc analysis as required.
  • Continually seek to improve process and drive efficiency.

We are currently expanding our finance team within our energy division and are currently looking for a finance business partner who has experience in collaborating with project managers, monitoring budgets, preparing financial reports, and ensuring accurate financial tracking for each project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and ability to form strong working relationships with non-finance colleagues.
