We are looking for a dynamic,motivated, HCA/Nursing Associate to join our friendly multi-professional team inKilburn.
The role will involve working aspart of the multi-disciplinary health care team providing planned care anddelivering the highest standards of patient care. The role is exciting, wherecompassion, teamwork, excellent communication skills, and initiative areparamount.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate willwork as part of the nursing team and have a robust induction process, followedby regular supervision by one of our nurses as well as the GP nursing Lead. Weare keen to invest in the development of this role to allow the successfulcandidate to gain further competencies and skills as required.
About us
The Practice provides services to a patient population of approximately 23,000. We have an excellent complement of administrative and nursing staff including; 2 Practice Nurses, 3 HCA and 2/3 Practice Pharmacists.
We are a high achieving surgery in all clinical and quality areas. We are looking for a likeminded person to share in our Practice vision of providing the highest standard of care to our patients.

Primary Responsibilities
Form therapeutic, meaningful relationships with patients.
Expected to work within the limits of their professional competence, skills and knowledge base and prioritise and manage their own workload.
Support the Nursing team in the delivery of care
Excellent communication
The post holder will be an active member of the Multi-Disciplinary Team who will maintain boundaries and be considered and compassionate in their care delivery.
Undertake clinical tasks including venepuncture and ECGs.
Perform and recording clinical observations such as blood pressure, temperature, respirations, and pulse. NHS Health checks Ensure the privacy, dignity and safety of individuals is always maintained. Recognise issues relating to safeguarding vulnerable children and adults. Recognise and report any situations, behaviours or errors that could result in poor care. Conduct safe administration of injections and immunisations using subcutaneous and intramuscular routes. Smear training encouraged Diabetes care Wound care Chronic disease management End of life/ palliative care support Support the practice in the delivery of full Spirometry services. Attendance at practice meeting where necessary Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential
Education/Qualifications: * Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register. * Nursing Associate foundation degree qualification Skills & knowledge: *Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team *Insight into how to evaluate own strengths and development needs, seeking advice where appropriate. *Experience of providing and receiving complex, sensitive information *A willingness to learn new skills and attend training. Skills and aptitudes: *Ability to organize and prioritise own delegated workload. *Able to undertake the clinical skills outlined in the Job description. *Ability to deal with non- routine and unpredictable nature of workload and individual patient contact. *Ability to communicate effectively (written, verbal and non-verbal communication) with patients/ relatives and carers and all members of the multi-disciplinary team. *Ability to develop effective and appropriate relationships with people their families, carers, and colleagues. *Ability to support, supervise, assess, and act as a role model to trainee nursing associates, nursing assistants as required within the clinical setting.-
