Wood in Staines are seeking a Senior Process Engineer for an offshore HVDC (Windfarm) project for a period of 6 months.

Our portfolio of project work covers new developments, expansion of existing assets, and the optimisation of facilities and systems. 

Wood in Staines are seeking a Senior Process Engineer for an innovative offshore HVDC (Windfarm) project for a period of 6 months. 

Process Engineers are a key part of our project teams and are typically responsible for the following: 

Provide checking to deliverables / activities,  Attend and contribute to reviews, safety studies, client meetings etc.  Following Wood’s QA and the projects requirements,  Performing contracted duties with respect, Providing support as required to other members of the process team,  Routinely keeping the Process lead / Project Engineer informed of status deliverables/ activities that they have responsibility for,  Notifying the Process Lead promptly whenever a risk or issue arises and adhering to the projects’ HSE polices.

Also, produce deliverables and/or activities commensurate with a Senior Process Engineer on an offshore greenfield utilities project, including but not limited to: 

Hydraulic Simulations (AFT Hydraulic Sofware – Fathom and Impulse)  Drawing development:  P&IDs  PFDs  PSFSs  MSDs  Document development:  Philosophies,  Basis of Design,  Guidelines,  Reports,  Studies.  Schedule development:  Cause & Effects,  Equipment Lists,  Line Lists,  Utility & Emissions summaries.  Calculations, using either in-House templates or develop bespoke solutions where required,  BSc(Hons) Process Engineering Experience in working with Process equipment on offshore projects, utilities.  Must have the right to work in the UK
