Caledonia Water (CWA) is a joint venture alliance between Aecom and Morrison Water Services (MWS), supporting the delivery of Scottish water’s SR21 Capital Investment Programme.

We are responsible for the delivery of a pan Scotland £700M water and wastewater infrastructure programme over a 6-year alliance framework.

As the Site Engineer your duties & responsibilities will be:

To ensure the safe delivery of construction activities on site, including compliance with our recently introduced COVID-19 safe systems of work Timely and efficient delivery of work activities To provide leadership to teams working on construction activities ensuring all work is carried out to the necessary specifications, RAMS and quality requirements To prepare method statements and risk assessments, and set out the works in accordance with the drawings and specification To liaise effectively with the construction supervisors and construction managers To work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders To complete accurate information and records of the permanent works To provide support to the wider team

Skills & Knowledge Requirements

Previous Site Engineering experience on waste water projects including pipelines and associated chambers, earthworks and excavations Experience on Pumping Station construction and trenchless works is desirable Excellent organisational and communication skills Excellent IT skills CITB SMSTS or other recognised industry accredited safety management programme, CSCS card or EUSR Safety Health, Environmental (SHEA) passport scheme, (SHEA) Water, DOMS and national water hygiene. NEBOSH Construction/General Certificate, NRSW Demonstrate a clear focus on customer and stakeholder performance with a service excellence and performance focus An enthusiastic team player

Additional Information

You must possess a high degree of manual dexterity demonstrated through the use of hand tools You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers and be required to walk and stand on uneven ground You must also be able to work within a confined space, without restriction

Do you hold a current driving licence? You will need to hold one to be considered for this role.
