South West Yorkshire Partnership Foundation Trust are recruiting for a LocumAppointment for Service Acting to join the Barnsley Intensive Home-BasedTreatment Team based at The Oakwell Centre, Kendray Hospital, Barnsley. Thisrole plays a vital part in ensuring our patients live well, in the communityand will be an integral role within the Barnsley team.

Person Specification

Experience

Essential

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Ability to gain confidence of patients. Participate in continuous professional development. Willing to take instruction. Ability to relate with non-medical staff effectively. Interest in psychiatry and desire to explore this career option.

Desirable

Undertaken research at undergraduate or postgraduate level. Previous evidence of an interest in, or a commitment to psychiatry. Experience of working in the NHS.

Qualifications

Essential

MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.

Desirable

In good standing with GMC with respect to warning and conditions on practice.

Eligibility

Essential

Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
