Note: US Citizen required for thisposition Job Description:
Designsmanufacturing processes procedures and production layouts forassemblies equipment installation processing machining and materialhandling.
Designs arrangement of machines within plantfacilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.
Designs sequence of operations and specifies proceduresfor the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions thataffect product performance.
Adapts machine or equipmentdesign to factory and production conditions.
Mayincorporate inspection and test requirements into the productionplan. Inspects performance of machinery equipment and tools toverify their efficiency and investigates and initiates correctiveaction of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable tostatistical process control and may develop those techniques.
Provides guidance to engineering regarding designconcepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipmentand manufacturing techniques.
Ensures processes andprocedures are in compliance with regulations. Basic Qualificationsfor Associate Manufacturing Engineer:
Bachelors Degree
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoDSecret clearance and Special Program access within a reasonableperiod of time as determined by the company to meet its businessneed.
Ability to work any shift
Ability todemonstrate critical thinking and problemsolvingcapabilities
Travel 25%
Ability to workweekends and holidays as needed. Basic Qualifications forManufacturing Engineer:
Bachelors Degree with2 years of experience OR Masters with 0 years experience in toolingfabrication and/or production fabrication including compositesmetallic coatings application and/or production manufacturingoperations.
Project management skills
Abilityto obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and Special Programaccess within a reasonable period of time as determined by thecompany to meet its business need
Ability to work anyshift
Ability to demonstrate critical thinking andproblemsolving capabilities
Travel 25%
Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed. PreferredQualifications:
STEM Degree (Science TechnicalEngineering or Mathematical)
Experience with MicrosoftOffice Suite (Word PowerPoint Excel)
Experience with MSProject
Direct Aerospace Tooling experience
Direct Experience with Catia and or NX or some CAD
Ability to Read/understand blueprints/GD&T in accordance withASME 14.5
This position is 100% in person in our RedondoBeach facility with travel to Palmdale to support the manufacturingline.
