GSL Education are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a dynamic school in Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire. If you are enthusiastic about inspiring students and fostering a love for literature and language, this English Teacher role is perfect for you

About the Role: As an English Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering engaging and effective English lessons to students. You will work closely with students to help them develop their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills. This English Teacher position offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement engaging and interactive teaching materials.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
  • Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the school community.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as an English Teacher or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A positive and proactive attitude towards teaching and learning.
  • In-depth knowledge of the English curriculum and educational practices.
