Job Duties:
  • Assist in lesson planning and delivery under the guidance of experienced teachers
  • Support students in their learning journey and provide individualised help when needed
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions to enhance teaching skills
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for education and a desire to pursue a career in teaching
Education:

Relevant educational qualifications or ongoing study in the field of education

Experience:

No prior teaching experience required, but any relevant experience working with children or in educational settings is beneficial

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Understanding of educational principles and practises
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Teaching assistant certification or relevant training
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school setting, following the school calendar and term dates. The successful candidate may be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
