A reputable primary school in Boston, Lincolnshire, with a commendable Ofsted rating of GOOD, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join their vibrant team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to Year 3 students in accordance with the national curriculum.
  • Create a positive, stimulating, and safe learning environment.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on the academic and social progress of students.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of the students.
  • Foster a culture of learning and curiosity, encouraging students to reach their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Candidates must hold QTS, having completed an accredited teacher training program.
  • Experience: Prior experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably within Key Stage 2.
  • Knowledge of Curriculum: Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Classroom Management: Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to inspire and engage young learners.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Creativity and Innovation: A creative and innovative approach to teaching and learning.
  • Commitment to Professional Development: A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.

Desirable:

  • Special Educational Needs (SEN) Experience: Experience or training in supporting students with SEN.
  • Technological Proficiency: Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance learning experiences.
