We are looking for an enthusiastic andmotivated individual to join our team as a housekeeper on Charnwood Ward atLoughborough Hospital. The ward provides sub-acute care, palliative care andrehabilitation and is one of thirteen across seven sites which form the TrustsInpatient Community Health Services division.

You will work your contracted hours per week in two shift patterns, - or - , five daysper week, over a roster covering Monday to Sunday including bank holidays.

Free parking is available on site andthere is a bus stop close by.

The Trust encourages a healthy work lifebalance, your working rota will be published 12 weeks in advance and flexibleworking opportunities are available.

Main duties of the job

Housekeepers are a vital part of our ward teams and aid thenursing and multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care. This roleincludes but is not limited to -

Helping patients with their nutrition and hydration toinclude serving meals, assisting patients to feed themselves or feeding them.

Maintaining a clean, tidy and welcoming ward environment.

Sitting with patients who may require one to one support andsupervision.

Managing stores and store rooms.

Working closely with the Ward Manager in maintaining andmonitoring clinical and environmental standards including the use of audittools.
