The Store Design Manager at Kurt Geiger will be responsible for leading the design and development of our retail stores globally. This role will ensure that each store reflects the brand's identity and meets our high standards of aesthetics, functionality, and customer experience. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong project management skills, and a passion for innovative retail design.

Responsibilities:

Design Leadership: Develop and oversee store design concepts that align with Kurt Geiger's brand identity and business objectives. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure design consistency across all retail formats. Project Management: Manage end-to-end store design projects, from initial concept to completion. Coordinate with external architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and on-budget project delivery. Creative Development: Stay updated with industry trends and innovations to continuously evolve store design standards. Generate creative solutions to enhance the customer shopping experience through design. Budget and Timeline Management: Develop project budgets and schedules, ensuring all projects are completed within financial and time constraints. Monitor project progress and resolve any issues that may arise during the design and construction phases. Quality Control: Ensure all store designs meet Kurt Geiger’s quality standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct site visits to oversee construction and installation, ensuring the design vision is realized. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the merchandising, marketing, and operations teams to integrate visual merchandising and branding elements into store designs. Liaise with international teams to adapt design concepts to local markets while maintaining brand consistency.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field. Experience in retail store design and project management. Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong understanding of retail trends and consumer behaviour. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Willingness to travel as required.
