PE Teaching Job in Wigan, September start, paid to scale, permanent

Your new company 
Hays has been approached by a high school in the Wigan area, and they are looking to secure a PE Teacher to start in September on a permanent basis. This is an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school, where the school are committed to maintaining the highest of standards for their pupils. You will have the opportunity to work with a highly reputable school and join the sports department and the team in the school.
Your new role 
Starting in September, you will be responsible for teaching PE across both KS3 and KS4. You should be confident in your ability to teach PE and have a creative and inclusive approach to teaching both practical and theory PE lessons in order to push pupils to their potential and maintain those high expectations. You should motivate your students and encourage them to stay active and maintain a healthy lifestyle. As well as delivering lessons, you would also be required to keep track of students’ progress and provide a positive environment for them to progress, whilst also engaging with other faculty members to maintain standards within the school.
What you\'ll need to succeed 
In order to be successful in securing this position, hold qualified teacher status (QTS) gained in the UK. You should be enthusiastic, approachable and be able to hit the ground running. This could be a perfect role for an NQT/ECT that is looking to gain some experience working within a high school environment.
