About the role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students with diverse learning needs, fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities of the Learning Support Assistant:
- Work alongside teachers to adapt resources and materials to meet individual student needs effectively.
- Provide focused assistance to students in small groups or one-on-one settings, ensuring they receive the support necessary for academic success.
- Help maintain a positive and engaging learning atmosphere that encourages participation and growth.
- Foster strong relationships with students to promote their social and emotional well-being, as well as their educational development.
- Collaborate with the teaching staff to monitor student progress and share insights to enhance learning outcomes.
Requirements of the Learning Support Assistant:
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with students and staff effectively.
- A commitment to supporting students and helping them achieve their potential.
- Prior experience in an educational setting is beneficial but not essential; we welcome enthusiastic candidates ready to learn and grow.
- A compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine passion for education and inclusivity.
- Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
