Responsibilities
  • Developand deliver wellstructured geography lessons in line with theschools curriculum
  • Create a positive andinclusive learning environment that motivates and engagesstudents
  • Assess and monitor student progressproviding timely feedback and support forimprovement
  • Differentiate instruction to meetthe diverse needs of students and promoteinclusivity
  • Incorporate innovative teachingstrategies and resources to enhance studentlearning
  • Collaborate with colleagues to designcrosscurricular projects and activities
  • Attendstaff meetings parentteacher conferences and other school events asrequired
Requirements
  • Holda valid teaching qualification and have experience teachinggeography at the primary or secondarylevel
  • Demonstrate a deep passion for geographyand a strong subject knowledge
  • Possessexcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectivelyengage with students parents andcolleagues
  • Have a proven track record ofdelivering highquality teaching and achieving positive outcomes forstudents
  • Show a commitment to continuousprofessional development and staying updated with currenteducational practices and trends
  • Have theability to effectively manage classroom behaviour and create apositive learning environment
  • Be eligible towork in the UK and hold a valid DBS check or be willing to obtainone before startingemployment
