Looking for a new project? WOOD is hiring Electrical & Instrumentation and Control Engineers in Reading & Staines.

Ideal candidates will have experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Nuclear, or other industrial facilities. Concept, Detailed design, or FEED experience.

These positions are specifically for candidates who are currently on a visa - are open to candidates whom have industry experience in the above roles currently. Live in the UK at present and have a current valid visa with a minimum of 12 months before expiry.

The position is also open to candidates whom have a Youth Mobility Visa in place.

Bachelor’s degree within the Electrical Engineering field or a BA in Science with a focus in Electrical Engineering Certified Engineer desirable Preferable to have experience in design, engineering and construction Preferable to have experience in “FEED” projects or “Detailed Design” Ideally - Engineer must be familiar with NEC, IEEE/ANSI, IEC and other International electrical standards, best practices and value practices Ideally - be familiar with analogue and Digital Control Systems including Power System Automation (PSA), DCS, PLC and SCADA controls Thorough knowledge of the English language is required to perform the necessary in depth analysis and studies, make professional presentations and keep up with technical advancements
