About therole


Reportingto the Head of IT and working closely with the Infrastructure andSecurity team the IT Operations Analyst is responsible forproviding technical support to end users. Acting as the first pointof contact they will accurately record all IT requests andtroubleshoot issues to the best of their ability.As a client andcustomer focused individual they will engage with all levels of thegroup organisations to deliver resolutions and services to ITrequests.They will take the lead role in implementing and evolvingthe JML (Joiners Movers Leavers) process with a focus on efficiencyand accuracy.
To be successful in this role the ITOperations Analyst must have a keen desire to help others and haveboth a reactive and proactiveapproach.

Keyresponsibilities

Asa IT Operations Analyst you will be responsiblefor:

  • Accurately logging all requestswithin a ServiceDesk system
  • ResolvingServiceDesk tickets as far as possible before escalating complexissues within a timely equipment
  • Hardwaresupport for laptops desktops and peripheral ITequipment
  • Creating documentation fortasks
  • Taking ownership of the JMLprocess
  • Asset and inventorymanagement
  • Administration of the VOIP telephonesystem

  • IT Service Desk systemexperience (logging categorising prioritisingescalating)
  • Experience of supporting desktopapplications such as Microsoft Office and MSTeams

  • Analytical andproblemsolving skills with the ability tomultitask
  • Experience of VOIP telephonysystems
