We are rapidly expanding here at StandardAero, and are looking for a CNC/Spray Technician to join our team

Responsibilities and Duties:

To carry out the required surface preparation and apply / spray coatings to achieve the surface finishes that meet the repair and material specification requirements Conduct all work in accordance with company policies, health and safety procedures, quality procedures, manufactures and customer specification and industry regulations. Complete all documents related to the work being performed Prepare surfaces by ensuring part cleanliness by degreasing, and blasting. Apply masking protection on all non-coated surfaces for the plasma spray process Ensure all equipment is safe and satisfactory to use, rectifying any unsafe conditions within the jobholder’s capability.  Preparation of test samples which include tensile, hardness and met metallurgical. Competent computer user. Able to use breathing apparatus Adherence to our Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and all associated Business Manuals

Able to read, write and carry out calculations accurately. Knowledge of Geometry and Trigonometry advantageous.

Functional: 

Essential

Experience from an equivalent role in a similar industry; Ability to read and use precision measuring equipment; Ability to read technical engineering drawings, both modern and older standards; Familiarity with imperial measurement.

Recognised indentured apprenticeship or military equivalent; Human Factors.

Suitable engineering qualification Experience on CNC/robotics systems Previous experience within an aerospace MRO environment
