CLOSING DATE 12 JUNE 2024 Working within the Global Internals & Proprietary Equipment (IPE) team in accordance with NOV strategy and Business objectives, you will be responsible for project execution from assessment of client requirements through to project completion for both internal and external Process Systems customers. As Project Manager you will be required to execute a number projects simultaneously, as well as managing a small team of Project Engineers in various global locations. Integral to this will be communicating effectively with suppliers, partner manufacturers and clients; oversee manufacturing processes and trial assemblies and supervising local workforce, in offshore locations, to ensure high quality and safe installations of new equipment.
Key to this role will be your effective decision making skills and the ability to communicate project information to relevant internal and external parties. You will take a proactive approach to understanding the market and communicating changes to the Head of Operations to adapt the strategy to ensure the desired outcome for the project. You will be keen to take on fresh challenges, develop your technical and interpersonal skills as well as expand your knowledge and experience through the variety of projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILTY & AUTHORITY:
Manage IPE projects from the Tender Handover to delivery & close out Establish and implement client specific project objectives and requirements Ensure that Company procedures and standards are maintained on all projects Ascertain requirements for IPE equipment. Effectively transfer information to internal and externals interested parties Review / delegate project related activities to project team to meet schedule requirements Arrange and co-ordinate regular internal project review meetings Monitor internal project budgets and assist Financial Manager with invoicing, project costings and general summaries Reporting of projects to third parties in the form of written reports & presentations at clients’ premises, in the office and remotely Visit suppliers / fabricators for inspection visits, FAT and trial assemblies and sign off where required Support and contribute to the training and mentoring of the Projects Engineering team Ensure a high standard of professionalism is maintained when representing NOV Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the work area and department Ensure personal compliance with all HSE legislation and HSE Company policy Be fully familiar and fully conversant with department and company policies, procedures and processes, ensuring all work and actions undertaken are in full compliance at all times Provide mentoring to Direct Reports and colleagues Support other departments and carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager Occasional travel as and when requiredBEHAVIORAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
