We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Recovery and Resolution Planning Manager. 

Treasury Risk are hiring for a Recovery and Resolution Planning manager to join the team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in a growing team which has substantial influence over the direction of how Recovery and Resolution Planning is managed for HSBC. 

In this role, you will: 

• Participate and assist in the development and maintenance of the Group Recovery Plan (GRP) and the biennial Group Resolvability Assessment Framework (RAF) self-assessment for submission to regulators.
• Confidently engage with stakeholders on matters related to Recovery and Resolution Planning to ensure delivery of these activities are within regulatory and internally mandated timelines. This will also include maintaining an active dialogue with various Risk Stewards, CRO’s and CFO’s.
• Represent Treasury Risk Management in Recovery and Resolution Planning Change programmes and will particularly focus on identifying and providing solutions to mitigate any inherit risks. 
• Ensure and maintain a clear monitoring and tracking of issues relating to RRP risks which can include audit issues, entity level controls and any other relevant control areas. 

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements: 

• Demonstratable experience and knowledge of Recovery and Resolution related regulations.
• Experience in addressing regulatory and audit requests.
• Prior experience in a Risk Stewardship 2nd line position.
• Proven ability to develop and form effective relationships across multiple teams and with stakeholders.
• A high level of competency which helps to determine solutions around appropriate risk measures, processes, monitoring and management.

The base location for this role is London / Hybrid.
