GSK’s Global Supply Chain (GSC) network comprises over 35 manufacturing sites in 30+ countries, employing around 25,000 people. The newly formed Global Supply Chain Digital & Tech (GSC D&T) team is at the heart of this transformation, aiming to become a data insight-driven organization through world-class innovative platforms and technologies.

In the GSC D&T organization, we seek individuals with expertise and functional knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems to join our team. The Manufacturing Products team is dedicated to simplifying the work of Global Supply Chain Manufacturing Operational and Quality personnel, ensuring they can consistently do the right thing in our Manufacturing Operations and during batch reviews of our materials and medicines. Our current products include Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Historians and Real-Time Visualization, Real-Time Data Analytics, Edge Technologies, Augmented Operator Workflow, Process Analytical Technology, and Weigh and Dispensing.

As a Product Manager you will manage the provisioning of technical services for GSCs Manufacturing Products, Network, Data and manage relationships with key customers, but also cover contingent worker management where needed. You will also be accountable for the development and release process for all products in scope to ensure that all service deliveries are achieved per the service level agreement. Answer questions regarding system procedures, online transactions, systems status and downtime procedures. Maintains appropriate logs and ensures timely resolution and/or escalation of problems. Ensures Audit readiness and Service Continuity and governance whilst maintaining Service Relationship with Internal and External Stakeholders. You will be responsible for both the design, development and implementation of short- and long-term solutions to information technology needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications infrastructure, and the management of the IT infrastructure.

In this role you will

Ensure alignment of products with Industry 4.0 standards and practices. Act as the decision-maker during development sprints, ensuring timely and effective resolutions. Serve as a servant-leader, reducing dependencies, removing blockers, and coordinating with other product teams and key stakeholders. Deliver tangible value by launching products that simplify and enhance user experiences. Lead and mentor Product Developers, fostering their growth into effective team members who produce valuable work. Liaise with vendors to ensure continuous support services are maintained.

Basic Qualifications & Skills:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

You have a BA/BSc degree in any discipline You have experience within Pharmaceutical / Consumer (FMCG) Manufacturing Business Units; using, maintaining managing or Quality Assurance of manufacturing execution systems You’ve been part of teams that have developed successful software products from concept to adoption You have directly managed product analysts/associates and are passionate about developing people You have strong understanding of product management techniques including customer development, discovery & primary research, lean start-up method and industrialisation/scaling-up You’ve defined your own key Metrics, KPIs sets and run your product teams using OKRs

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

Subject Matter Expertise & Credibility : Minimum of 5 years Pharmaceutical / Consumer (FMCG) Manufacturing experience using, maintaining, managing or Quality Assurance of manufacturing execution systems / B2C or B2B product management experience. Highly competent in managing day-to-day technical and design direction Fluid Intelligence : High intellectual curiosity and able to learn quickly, assimilating new information and synthesising viewpoints/hypotheses. Able to become proficient in new areas in weeks, not months Emotional Intelligence: High EQ and empathy for both our external customers (i.e., Patients & Healthcare Professionals) and internal customers (senior stakeholders, cross-functional collaborators). Excited to bring people on the journey with them. Data-Driven Decision Making: Able to evidence their decisions in sound qualitative and/or quantitative analysis and logic. Able to mine, analyse and interpret their own data (Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, etc). Communication & Stakeholder Management: People who can communicate their ideas, writing precisely and concisely, and able to articulate the ‘why’ behind their decisions to stakeholders with different levels of understanding and seniority Bias-to-Action: Pragmatic, resourceful and acts without waiting to be told what to do.
