Salary: £24,043.50 p/a

Hours: F/T 37.5 per week (Monday to Friday)


Andover Mind is one of the leading mental health providers in Hampshire and we are looking for a full time Dementia Advisor in the Basingstoke and surrounding areas as part of our County Wide Carer Support and Dementia Advisor service.  

You will be delivering advice, information, support and signposting to people with dementia and their carers, with the aim of helping people to live long, healthy and happy lives, with the maximum possible independence. If you have a strong background in Adult Health and Care, with knowledge and understanding of dementia and an understanding of issues and challenges faced by carers, we would love to hear from you. 

The personal attributes needed for this role are good interpersonal and listening skills, a non-judgemental and empathetic approach as well as being self-motivated as working as part of a mainly remote team.

The successful candidate will be competent in the use of IT and need to have a valid driving licence and access to a car due to the nature of the role.

Location: Hybrid working - Home based / Hampshire wide service, however outreach work is predominantly Basingstoke area
